District Superintendent of Police (SP), Avinash Kumar, commenting on the arrest said The Maoists had organised the camp to recruit new cadres. Police seized huge materials used by Maoists including a county made gun and musical instruments of Jana Natya Mandali, reports The Hindu. According to the Police, Sunita was a prize catch. Her main objective was to recruit new members for the Maoists through the Jana Natya Mandali and propaganda.
