The slain militants were identified as Aamir Ali Kamaal alias Aamir alias Akram and Mohammad Shaffi Hajam code Saqib. The arrested has been identified as Sajjad Ahmed alias Rezwan. Two AK-47 rifles, three magazines, 15 rounds, one Chinese pistol and one magazine were recovered from the site of encounter. The Inspector General of Police (IGP, Jammu) Dilbagh Singh said with the killing of two militants and arrest of another, 27 militants were left in Jammu region.
