Their arrest was based on the confession of four Indian Mujahideen (IM) cadres, arrested from the same area on October 3. Inspector-General of Police (Western Range) A.M. Prasad said there was growing evidence that the coastal region, particularly Mangalore city, is being used by the terrorists for supporting terror strikes.
